Call now to tell your PA state Senator to get Aimee’s Law, SB1311, out of the Senate Judiciary!
What is it: SB1311, also known as Aimee’s Law, would create a felony animal abuse registry in Pennsylvania. Per the discretion of the judge, felony animal abusers would be registered in a publicly searchable database for a minimum of two years. This would allow anyone–from private citizens to adoption agencies–to keep animals out of the hands of animal abusers. It would allow judges to prevent animal abusers from owning animals while they are on the list to prevent harm to other animals they may have.
